The local section of the American Planning Association will be hosting a farewell lunch to honor John Dugan today, Friday, March 25 from 11:30am-1:30pm at Liberty Bar, 1111 S. Alamo St. During the lunch we’ve asked John to share what it’s like being a big-city planning director and offer advice to those looking to advance in the planning field. Attendees will also have an opportunity to ask career advice questions.
The event will be held on the private porch. There will be a limited menu. Options are below. Price is $15/ person plus tax and gratuity. Price includes desert and drink.

The March section meeting will take place next Friday, March 25 from 11:30am-1:30pm at Liberty Bar, 1111 S. Alamo St. Our guest speaker is John Dugan, Director of the City of San Antonio’s Department of Planning & Community Development. As you may have heard, Mr. Dugan will be leaving San Antonio to pursue new opportunities in Arlington, Texas. Our meeting this month will present an opportunity to learn what its like to be a planning director and ask the career advice questions you’ve always wanted to ask.
